I’ve been a follower of Amazon Top Reviewer Gisela Hausmann’s “how to” books for a while. Her advice on writing effective e-mails, getting book and product reviews, and more have become a staple in my library. Her latest book, BAT SHIT CRAZY Review Requests: Email Humor, is more than a collection of humorous e-mails. Using humor, Hausmann shows readers what NOT to do when writing e-mails. Her spot-on observations of the efficacy of a well-written communication are invaluable.

I laughed out loud at many of the examples she has gathered for this book. But, it was her critiques of the welcome e-mails sent to voters that I found most humorous. Using these examples, Hausmann shows her readers even the supposedly professional writers can make mistakes.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a humorous read. I also suggest anyone who writes e-mails requesting book reviews, welcoming people to groups or organization, or just about any professional communication buy this book. Read it for fun, then read it again. There’s some useful advice in these pages.
