“View From the Sixth Floor: An Oswald Tale”
“This romantic thriller takes a fictional “what if” look at the JFK assassination. Suppose accused assassin Lee Harvey Oswald had lived to defend himself. Imagine if 50 years after the assassination someone stepped forward to reveal the truth of what happened that day. What if the assassination was a conspiracy and the impact of those revelations reached into the 21st century? This is the story of ordinary people caught up in extraordinary events. You’ll never look at your neighbors the same way.”

I have to say that this book earned the 5 stars. From the first page I was sucked into the story and the history. It was a great book filled with history, romance, intrigue, and conspiracy. It was very well written and had a great storyline. It was a work of fiction, but books like this can really get a person to thinking about the time old question of What If? This is one of the best historical books I have read in a while and will highly recommend.’ Stormi, BoundlessBook Reviews
Finally, I must applaud the writers’ imagination. The plotting of her story holds true despite the real world truths stacked against it.’ Mark Fine, The Zebra Affaire: An Apartheid Love Story
What starts as a weird hybrid of middle-aged romance cum road trip, turns into a paranoid thriller in the style of TheParallax View, and gets faster and faster to a breathless denouement. Full marks also for accurate descriptions of spies’ “tradecraft”.’ Charlie Flowers, The Riz Sabir Series
Not only are the main characters well developed, the cameo appearances of Officials/Corrupt lawyers and even waitresses are in perfect keeping with the peripheral activity that creeps into the main plot. I would recommend this as a cozy but intelligent read, difficult to put down once started. Andrew Wilson

As I read, the layers peeled back page-by-page revealing a narrative as engrossing as anything created by Alfred Hitchcock. I really wish the late great Master of Suspense was still alive, as I would have liked to see Riddle come alive as a quality motion picture. I strongly recommend this book! Carved Wooden Heart
A sexy encounter with a talented native artist, a broken heart, and a knight in shining armor are just the beginning in this passionate erotic romance. Dani Stone never expected to fall in love with carver Jesse Wolf Carver. She certainly didn’t foresee the results of her intense one night stand with the sexy hunk. From the wealth of New York City to a small southern community, follow Dani as she journeys the winding path fate has laid out for her. (Explicit sexual material: Recommended 18+)

Carved Wooden Heart is a mixture of high octane romance and a twisty adventure that will keep you up at night wondering how the characters will all evolve. Claire Stibbe, The Detective David Temeke Series
Powerful and Passionate! I loved this intimate story. From the very first page I was pulled into this beautiful powerful romance. The unique nature of Jesse’s work and the incredible attraction between the two lovers were elements that kept me turning pages well into the night. Lynda Filler, Target in the Sun and the “Jet” series
You will enjoy reading about how she (Dani) grows as a person, about her friendships and family ties, and of course, the steamy bedroom scenes, if you are a fan (quite hot, though never vulgar). There is passion, lust, skin, heat, but also emotion and tenderness.
However, what I find the greatest value in this book are the characters who evolve over time, following the romance stereotype to a certain point, yet preserving a believable feel to them, which makes you root for them or against them. Anita Kovacevic, Average Daydreamer and The Threshold
Great new novel from Elizabeth Horton-Newton! Follow Dani as she meet mysterious and sexy artist Jesse, then loses touch with him. By the time they meet again, fate has taken her along a dramatically different path, and her life — full of new people, love and tragedy, makes her into a different person from the girl he once knew. Dani needs to make critical choices about love and family, not just for herself, but for the ones she holds most dear. I love that Elizabeth included details about Native American traditional carving! I was fascinated to learn about it. Alexis Alvarez, Capturing Kate and Boston
Great story I will read again and again. I couldn’t put this book down. I was totally invested in Dani and her choices. I laughed, I cried! Kathy Broggy
