Meet the Author

This Friday, November 21, 2014, at 6:30 PM I will appear at a “Meet the Author /Book Signing” for my novel “View From the Sixth Floor: An Oswald Tale”. This will take place at The Courtyards Senior Living, an assisted living facility at 801 E Inskip Dr, Knoxville, TN.
The timing of this event as well as the timing of the release of my book is linked to the story itself. The book was released on Oct. 18th, 2014 which would have been Lee Harvey Oswald’s 75th birthday. The gathering where I will speak about the book, the events surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy takes place the day before the fifty-first anniversary of the killing.
On November 24th, 1963 the accused assassin was himself shot and killed by a local business owner, Jack Ruby. With that any questions regarding Oswald and his possible involvement in the assassination were forever swept into the maelstrom of mystery.
Let me state up front that I personally do not believe Lee Oswald fired the shot that ended the life of our 35th President. There have been both official and unofficial investigations into the assassination; some believe and report Oswald was the only shooter while others suspect a conspiracy. Even those who believe in a conspiracy differ on who they think was involved in the planning and execution of the crime.
Over the years I have wondered about those days and the circumstances surrounding the assassination. Many times I thought about how things might have been very different had Lee Oswald had the opportunity to defend himself. I’m certain others have also considered how so many questions could have been answered.
“View From the Sixth Floor: An Oswald Tale” was born of my imaginings. This is a work of fiction and I have no real answers to the mysteries. I look forward to discussing both the known facts of the events and how I came to create a scenario that I believe readers will find thought provoking.
If you’re in the vicinity of the talk stop in and share your thoughts. If you’d just like to read the book it is available on the following sites.
