The past few months have been an exciting adventure. I had the privilege of attending three book events; one in April and two in May. In April I traveled to Greer, South Carolina to join the Spring Book Bash. It was held at the historic Randall House and was presented by the Creative Slingers of Ink. It was a pleasure to meet a great group of authors with books from all genres. The readers who streamed through were enthusiastic and eager to explore the various available books. This is definitely an event that I hope to join again.

I spent two exciting days at the Second Knoxville Book Festival here in Knoxville, Tennessee. This was my second year at this event. Filled with amazing authors, panels, local bookshops, and banned books, readers enjoyed meeting writers and exploring the variety of genres available. Not only did I meet fellow authors, I also learned I have a following. One of the most rewarding things an author, especially an indie author, can find are readers who return to check out her latest releases. Overall, this is one of the largest and best book events in the Southeast.

Nashville, Tennessee held the Second Annual Books, Authors, & Publishers Fair presented by PHRMedia, LLC. I was honored to be included with over 65 local and national authors. Located on the Nashville Fairgrounds, it was a fun event. There were activities for all ages, contests, and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library was also represented.

All in all spring was a busy time. Now I’m winding down and getting back to work finalizing several short stories. I’m also working on a werewolf story. So, if you hear howling in the night, it might be me getting inspiration by running with a pack.
