This is a short story I wrote many years ago. I was in a college writing critique group led by two of my English professors.

Impulsively, I entered it in an online short story contest. (See link above) I’m honored to say it won the contest.

It’s far removed from the stories I write now. Tentative and romantic, I think it expresses the uncertainty of fledgling love.
