August has been a hectic month for me. In fact, I’ve barely had time to read.
At the beginning of the month, I was one of the authors attending Indie Bookfest 2019 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Accompanied by my PA, Kathy, we spent four whirlwind days meeting other authors and readers, selling and signing books, and I even got to speak on two panels.

We were astonished at the amazing writers who attended and the variety of genres represented. I think we purchased as many books as we sold! There were giveaways, parties, meet and greets, and I was even interviewed on a popular web show, Hanging With the Web, hosted by author and journalist G.W. Pomichter.
My most talked about books at the convention were “Stolen Gypsy” and “Chattanooga Choo Choo” which was originally published as an e-book by Electric Eclectic Books and is now in print through Dragonfly Books.
Some of my other Electric Eclectic Books, “Old Habits”, “April Showers”, and “Dark at the Top of the Stairs” are now in paperback as well
Readers got a kick out of posing for pictures with my traveling buddies, Ophelia Ostrich, and Sophie Sloth.
September and October promise to be even busier months.
